- Exclusive Representation of German Conglomerate Mannesmann to Israel, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mannesmann

Mannesmann AG was a German corporation with headquarters in Düsseldorf. The company was founded in 1890 originally to produce seamless steel tubes, in 1999 it was acquired by Vodafone in one of the largest acquisitions in recent history.

The Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline resulted from the initiative of my father, following a conversation he had with his close friend Zvi Dinstein, who worked under Pinchas Sapir, Secretary of Treasury of Israel, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinchas_Sapir

My father invited a member of the Board of Directors of Mannesmann to visit Israel for a week. During that visit, Ezra convinced him of the strategic importance of Israel for Germany & Europe. As a consequence, Germany financed about 80% of the construction of that pipeline.

Mannesmann supplied the pipes Krupp supplied the pumps.

Ezra Mileikowsky represented at the time both Mannesmann & Krupp.

The pipeline was built in 1968, see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Israel_pipeline

Zvi Dinstein was director of the Foreign Assistance and Foreign Currency departments of the Ministry of Finance until 1956. In 1960 he became chairman and president of the Israeli Petroleum and Energy Institute remaining in post until 1989. From 1962 until 1964 he was director of the Investment Authority, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zvi_Dinstein.

The Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company (EAPC) operates several petroleum and petroleum products pipelines in Israel, most notably the Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline. It also operates two oil terminal and depots in the country. The company was originally formed in 1968 as a 50/50% joint venture between Israel and Iran (during the Shah’s rule) to transport crude oil from Iran to Europe, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eilat_Ashkelon_Pipeline_Company

Ezra introduced Mannesmann’s military division to the IDF which was instrumental in the construction of the Merkava tank of General Tal.

The Merkava (Hebrew:  מרכבה (help·info), "chariot") is a main battle tank used by the Israel Defense Forces. The tank began development in 1973 and entered official service in 1978, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkava

In 1965, Israel's military establishment began research and development on a domestically produced tank, the "Sabra"[9] (not to be confused with the later model of the same name now in service). Initially, Britain and Israel collaborated to adapt the United Kingdom's Chieftain tank that had entered British Army service in 1966.[10] However, in 1969, Britain decided not to sell the tank to Israel for political reasons.[11]

Israel Tal, who was serving as a brigade commander after the Suez Crisis, restarted plans to produce an Israeli-made tank, drawing on lessons from the 1973 Yom Kippur War, in which Israeli forces were outnumbered by those of the Middle East's Arab nations.[11]

By 1974, initial designs were completed and prototypes were built, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkava#Development.
