Tel Aviv   2.8.2017

  Dear Gili and Dudi ,

We were so sad to hear about the passing away of your dear parents !

Ruthi and Ezra were part of my childhood , since they were close friends with my parents, Rina and Yasha Armarnik. They were part of a very happy "gang" in "little Tel Aviv" and I have many pictures of the Purim parties and "tiyulim" where they looked so young and happy.

And then they moved to Brussels . Their beautiful apartment was always full of guests and friends. I still remember sleeping over and visiting "Brussels World Fair" (Expo '58).

Our friendship continued while we lived as students in Switzerland (and later in the USA and in Israel), spending Passoverseders and ski vacations together.

Rothi and Ezra were perfect hosts , intelligent and funny. We enjoyed their company and never felt the age difference. We shared our love for art, movies, and travel.

Unfortunately , we lost contact over the last years of their lives and since our parents passed away also , we feel that a generation has gone !

Best regards ,
